My wife and I were on our first trip to The Valleys. Prior to the day with Pierre, we spent two days on our own and then spent a day on our own afterwards. I learned more, and was exposed to more, on that single day with Pierre than the other days combined! What I found to be valuable was one, the relationships that you have established with the small boutique wineries that produce wines with melodic flavors which the behemoth, well-known labels can't match; and two, the education which taught us to discern the components of the various wines.
